Patricia Treib (b. 1979, Michigan), lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Patricia Treib's paintings are composed around sensuous details, absences, and shifts in perspective. Fuchsia Sleeve is based on a 1940s Vogue sewing pattern envelope depicting various sleeve shapes, which was placed behind a pencil cactus in Treib’s studio.
