Anna Lea Hucht (b. 1980, Germany) lives and works between Athens and Berlin.

In her edition My Daughter, letters express emotion through form, capturing the almost surreal moment of saying those words for the first time — when theoretical knowledge suddenly becomes absolutely real, and the profound transformation of parenthood begins.

The work also carries a feminist weight: the anxiety of raising a daughter today, in a world experiencing a backlash against women’s rights, and the question of what her future holds.
